Honorable behavior that glorifies God

Eph_2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Be careful to live properly in the sight of God and Man

1Pe 2:12  (NLT)  Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when He judges the world.
We may think of good works as doing some work for God[ministry, church etc] apart from living our own life. According to 1pe 2:12 our conduct or behavior [things we speak or do in our daily lives] itself is a deed. Consider our attitude at the work place,  How do we respond when some one is back biting or arguing or competing with us?
1Pe 2:12 says "Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors" . Our motivation is not to live for the sake of neighbors outwardly but live unto God in holiness and righteousness inwardly and such divine life will be the divine light to the world and bring glory to God.
So let us "Be careful to live properly"  as Jesus lived so that on the Day of Judgement we may not be ashamed but rather be praised by Unbelievers for our conduct.
Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.
(Philippians 2:14-15 NLT)
If anyone thinks such a life is hard, difficult or impossible then look towards the mighty God who has promised us victory in his word. Let us repent and ask God for faith to live such a life.
Php 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Joh 15:7  But if you remain in Me and My words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

What do we believe?

In a world that is slowly moving away from biblical Christianity and confused with various conflicting teachings, Every generation of Christians have struggled to protect the integrity and purity of faith. Every now and then whenever threats to Christianity came up,  faithful believers from all over the world including different denominations would come together and make a statement of faith to summarize their faith. Such a statement was called a Creed.

Eph 5:25  Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
Eph 5:26  that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27  so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

Purpose of God’s Word

In order to be pure (cleansed) we must allow God’s written word and Holy Spirit’s work to work in us. This is done by reading and meditating upon God’s word

Ignore the word of god at your own peril!

Symptoms

Are you getting weaker in faith?

·         Your zeal for God is getting weaker and weaker.

·         The presence of God seems further and further away very distant.

·         You opened the bible and did not find any delight in God’s word

· You require a total restoration from God. A honest cry of the heart is a good place to start.
