Did you accept God’s love and sacrifice today?

Eph 5:25-26

Eph 5:25  Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
Eph 5:26  that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27  so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

Purpose of God’s Word

In order to be pure (cleansed) we must allow God’s written word and Holy Spirit’s work to work in us. This is done by reading and meditating upon God’s word

Purifying effect of God’s Word

The reading the word leads to the removal of spots and wrinkles (sins and imperfections). Repentance and forgiveness of God makes us Holy without blemish.

Accepting God’s Love

1. Reading the God’s word and allowing it to penetrate us means accepting the Love of God and the sacrifice of Christ  which results in our purification.

How should we live daily?

1. Accepting God’s love and sacrifice is a daily affair.
   
2. We should seek and meditate God's word daily  (Mat 6:11 )
   
3. We must take up the cross and live for God daily ( Luke 9:23 )

Have you been cleansed, purified, Holy and made blameless today?
